Superjail is goddamn insane.

The animation is like a mix between Aachi & Ssipak and something Brad Neely would draw, if he were being directed by David Firth. It is absolutely hilarious and insane and brutal. The show's pilot was televised a long-ass time ago, and it got picked up for a season and will begin airing this weekend. I'm excited about something on Adult Swim that isn't Tim and Eric! Yay!

Also, after about 7 minutes, I realized why I loved the Warden so much. It's because he's DAVID FUCKING WAIN.

I don't know if the ridiculousness of it is a gimmick or if its insanity is sustainable for an entire season, but I do know that I didn't want that episode to end. That was really something.

If the Obama campaign could cut everything from 5:14 to 5:52 into a commercial, they would have the most compelling "more of the same" political advertisement of all time.

My musical obsession for like a week has been the song Ready For The Floor by Hot Chip. I've listened to it dozens and dozens of times.

Tonight I bought Girl Talk's "Feed the Animals" and the song Hands in the Air has a section at the start that mashes up Ready for the Floor with Lovefool by The Cardigans.

Also, I'm similarly crazy about D.A.N.C.E. by Justice, which uses the phrase PYT. Which I didn't know the meaning of until I heard Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" in the Girl Talk song In Step.

LOVE THIS SHIT
